World Malayalee Council Inc, DFW Province was founded in May 2000, and we have experienced tremendous growth since our founding to our current membership of approximately 100 family members. Throughout the year, we have done many charity works, family programs, and projrcts for our youth. Though our charity operations, we were able to assist many families in the US and in Kerala. We conduct several social events during the year to give our members a chance to meet and network with our member's families and others in the community.

Let us say a few Words about World Malayalee Council Inc, has three tier organizational structures, a global council, six regional councils: America, Europe, Africa, Middle East, India and Far East & Australia and local units called Provincial Councils. Membership in WMC is in the provincial councils. Each province serves as the body serving the local Malayalee community. World Malayalee Council Inc. is a 100% Charitable Organization with 501© Status. The main objective of this organization is to provide a non-political forum to bring together the widely scattered community of people of Malayalee/Kerala origin and strengthen the common bonds of culture, tradition and way of life. The charter of the organization recognizes the revolutionary transformation taking place at global levels as a result of quantum leaps in technology. WMC works towards an international brotherhood of Malayalees/people of Kerala origin to bolster their cultural, artistic and social uniqueness and give resilience and understanding towards other cultures with which they have to co-exist and interact.
 
We sincerely hope that you all will continue to stay involved with World Malayalee Council Inc, DFW Province, including joining one of our committees. As we grow, we have plans to expand our operations in several other activities for children, youth and adults. For you, there are several opportunities to become actively involved and really make a difference in the development of the community through WMC.
